Whew, finally getting to things I actually did this year. This is a character from the GameBoy Advance video game Fire Emblem (technically Fire Emblem 7). His name is Guy and he's a Myrmidon (spelled wrong I suspect). I wanted to capture the loose and floppy/flowy feel like the game animations for that class of fighter, only he ended up looking a bit insane instead... He's holding a sword that looks more like the game sword (a straight double-sided blade with no guard) than the sword he's shown holding in the official art (a curved one-sided blade with a katana-type guard), because I like the little game sword better.
